Located at Tanjung Forest Reserve, KM 10, Jalan Air Panas, Tawau, designed by the State Department, is a beautiful course just 25 minutes drive from Hotel Emas. Commanding an extremely magnificent view and presenting an optimal environment for golfing fun. This beautiful 345-acre piece of rain forest land was given to Tawau Golf Club in 1982 by Datuk Harris Mohd Salleh, then the Chief Minister of Sabah. Building the par-72 Hot Spring Golf Course was embarked on the club's own in-house design by a group of dedicated committee members with support, contributions and donations made by the club members, totalling RM1.8 million The first nine holes was started in January 1996 and completed in May 1999. The second nine was completed in July 2001.
All players must adhere to each individual club/course's dress code regulations and the host club's right to refuse a booking in the case of non-compliance.
